Autel Robotics EVO Lite Series and EVO Lite Enterprise Series Achieves C1 Certification, Setting New Standards in Drone Compliance

Press Release: We wanted to provide you with some important updates regarding the certification requirements for our drones and the upcoming changes in accordance with EU Drone Regulations.

Here's what you need to know:

We just secured the coveted C1 certification for our EVO Lite series and EVO Lite Enterprise Series, which marks a major milestone for Autel Robotics in adhering to the European Drone Regulation (EU) 2019/945 (R945) and sets the stage for users to experience enhanced capabilities and freedom in operations.

The C1 certification for the EVO Lite series and EVO Lite Enterprise Series involves a firmware update to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory standards. As a remote pilot, from 1st January 2024, the C1 Class Mark on EVO Lite enables operations in the 'Open Category', A1 sub-category. Please check your National Aviation Authority's website to find out how to receive this training and exam. The training can be undertaken in any EASA Member State.

In undertaking the rigorous demands to meet these standards to achieve C1, Autel Robotics worked with Applus, an approved EASA Notified Body; they act on behalf of EASA to ensure all of the requirements of C1 are tested and achieved prior to EASA's Authorisation of the Class Mark.

In order to verify the certification of EVO Lite series and EVO Lite Enterprise Series you can visit the Applus website.
